Adam Benzuly is originally from the Chicago-land area and has lived in the Bay area for the past 10 years. He graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 1997 with a degree in Material Science Engineering and was supposed to build missiles for Lockheed but ended up building high-rise condominium buildings for exorbitantly rich people and is still trying to figure out which is the lesser of two evils. He was certified in Cozumel several years back on a whim and over the past year obtained his Rescue Diver certification. While still exploring and getting used to the the Monterey coastline and cold water, he prefers the warmth, clarity and cheap beers associated with our diving neighbors to the far, far south. Adam lives in Oakland and dives to avoid the occasional drive-by gunshot. |
