Channel
Islands Part 2 on August 28, 2010! We
had such a good time on board the Truth in late June; we are going back at the
end of August!
What:
A one-day boat trip aboard the Conception with multiple boat dives in the Outer
Channel Islands !
When:
4am to 6 pm on 8/28/10
Cost:
$130 per person (boat, meals, fills) plus approx. $100 pp for the car rental
from Oakland. Saturday night, we may stay on the boat or rent rooms at a local
hotel (room expense is additional, and around $40 per person).
Total
estimated trip cost is $270 including boat, ground transportation, and lodging.
We leave Oakland around 3 PM on 8/27/10, drive down to Santa Barbara, stay on the boat Friday and Saturday nights and return to Oakland on Sunday around 5 PM. Deadline to sign up is
August 7th.
First come, first serve and no reservations made until payment is received. After this date you make your own reservations
if there is anything available.

are revisiting Lake Tahoe once
again!
When: Leaving Friday
September 17th from the Bay Area and returning Sunday, September 19th,
2010.
Where: Two nights/three
days at Meek’s Camp - home of the Rubicon Beach, the best dive site in Tahoe!
Cost: Camping price per
person is $15. This price is fixed and final regardless of how many people go
or how many nights you choose to spend camping. Admission to the park is extra
- see details on camp's web site.
Who: We reserved two camp sites for up to 12 ppl - 6 per camp
site. Only three tent per campsite. Tent-sharing available upon request. Only 8 seats available at this time.
To reserve your seat send $15 pmt to Calidivers. Contact David Bardellini at DBardellini@calidivers.org .

The Hawaii trip is in full planning mode!
When: October 15th through the 24th,
2010.
Where: On the fabulous big island near Kona.
What: Multiple days of
amazing shore dives to see reefs and big marine life!
Costs:

Guide costs: $125 – locations only locals know! Multiply shore dives per day over the entire
time of the trip.

Car rental costs: $150 – two persons per rental car to shared
amongst the group.
·
Housing cost: $350 – double occupancy in a two bedroom unit (i.e.
four people per condo).
·
Airfare, weights, equipment, food, booze, gas and incidentals are
not included.
$625
due to Dave Bardellini by August 22nd to reserve a spot and ensure housing and
car space.
After that, you will need
to make reservations on your own.
